A small studio from Jade, Sorab
SG Photography is Mahendra V Gowda and a close team of photographers who grew up around Malnad weddings — which is why we know when to step forward and when to stay out of the way.
We started photographing family functions around Sorab and slowly grew into full wedding coverage across Shivamogga district and beyond. Most of our work still comes from families recommending us to their relatives, and that is the standard we try to keep.
Our approach is simple. We arrive early, learn the order of the rituals, and photograph them as they happen. We use natural light wherever it exists and add light only when the room genuinely needs it. We never ask a family to repeat a ritual for a better frame.
After the event you receive a private online gallery to review every photograph, mark your favourites and tell us exactly which ones to retouch or print. Final high-resolution files are delivered digitally, and albums are designed only after you have approved the selection.

How we work
Rituals first
The muhurta does not wait for a photographer. We plan around the priest, not the other way round.
Natural light
Warm, soft, true-to-skin colour. We light a room only when it needs it, never to make a scene look artificial.
Every photograph reviewed
You see the full set in a private gallery and choose your favourites before anything is finished or printed.
Delivered properly
Full-resolution files handed over cleanly, backed up, and available to download whenever you need them.
